OUR INSTRUCTORS
Instructor K.C. Jones and his staff are dedicated to providing a high level martial arts experience to you. Mr. Jones and his instructor team focus on creating well rounded martial artists using traditional Tae Kwon Do as the foundation then adding Gracie style Jiu-Jitsu for a full learning experience. K.C. Jones Martial Arts also teaches character education. Our instructor team teaches new lessons each week.

Mr. K.C. JONES, Owner and Master Instructor

Mr. Kevin Jones is the owner and master instructor of the K.C. Jones Martial Arts in Long Beach, MS. He is a six degree master black belt in Tae Kwon Do, brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Senior instructor with 25 years of experience in martial arts. He started training in 2000. Started teaching in 2006. Has been teaching at K.C. Jones Martial Arts since April 2009.
With his experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Martial Artist he is able to combine the art and beauty of Tae Kwon Do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the real world applications of Self Defense and protection.

Mr. Mason Pope, Instructor

Mr. Mason Pope is a lead instructor at K.C. Jones Martial Arts. He is a fourth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a blue belt in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. Mr. Pope has been with K.C. Jones martial arts for over a decade. He started his training back in 2011 at the age of 4.

He is the overall tournament point leader in the year 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Instructor of the year in 2016, 2018, 2021, and 2023.
Black belt of the year in 2019, 2020, and 2023.

Mr. Eric Cleveland, Instructor
Mr. Eric Cleveland is a lead instructor at K.C. Jones Martial Arts. He is a Third-Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a White belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has earned the rank of Senior Blue Belt in Escrima. Mr. Cleveland began his martial arts journey in 2012 and began instructing in 2014. He earned his Black Belt in 2016.Mr. Cleveland is a dedicated leader committed to each student’s personal growth and discipline through mentorship and instruction.

Mr. Ismael Muriel, Instructor

Mr. Ismael Muriel A.K.A Mr. Izzy is a lead instructor at K.C. Jones Martial Arts. Mr. Izzy joined our team back in January 2024 but has an extensive 18-year background in Tae Kwon Do. He is a second-degree black belt and has begun a new journey in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu.

He began training in 2006 in his hometown the Bronx, NY achieving the rank of first-degree black belt in 2009 where he became an instructor as well. He is knowledgeable in both World Tae Kwon Do and International Tae Kwon Do Federations bringing a high energy, power filled and artistic dynamic to our school.

Miss. Olivia DeMola, Assistant Instructor

​Miss. Olivia is an assistant instructor at K.C. Jones Martial Arts. She has been doing martial arts since she was three years old. She is now a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a grey belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Olivia is also on the demonstration team. She is a great example of dedication, self-control, and perseverance.

Mr. Sedrick Stubbs, Assistant Instructor

Sedrick is an assistant instructor at K.C. Jones Martial Arts. He is deeply committed to martial arts. Dedication and discipline have earned him the rank of second--degree black belt, reflecting years of hard work and expertise in his craft. Martial arts are clearly a core part of his identity, showcasing the strength, perseverance, and mastery in this field.

Miss. Erica Magee, Assistant Instructor

​Miss Erica is an assistant instructor at K.C. Jones Martial Arts. She has been on our instructor team since her level two orange belt. She is a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a white belt in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. She is also on the demo team. She fell in love with Tae Kwon Do the first day her feet hit the mat. Martial Arts has helped build her leadership skills, confidence, strength, and showed perseverance. Her hard work, dedication, and willingness to grow is a great example of success.
